Anahí je bila rojena kot Anahí Giovanna Puente Portilla v Ciuidad de Mexicu 14. maja 1983. Svojo igralsko kariero je prièela kar v seriji Chiquilladas.
Nastopala je tudi v zelo priljubljeni mehiški telenoveli Clase 406 kot Jessica Riquelme. Leta 2003 se je potegovala tudi za glavno vlogo v telenoveli Rubí, ki so jo pozneje tudi vrteli na naši televiziji pop tv, vendar ni dobila vloge. [/b]Anahí en la Ciudad de México. A la edad de dos años, inició su carrera en el programa Chiquilladas y durante varios años fue la imagen de la marca Pepsi Cola. El tema que interpretó Te doy un besito sirvió para cerrar diariamente la programación infantil del canal 5 de Televisa.
Anahí además de actuar en televisión, ha participado en algunas películas como Nacidos para morir con Humberto Zurita, Había una vez una estrella con David Reynoso y Pedro Fernández.
Como cantante ha destacado como solista, pues ha llegado a vender aproximadamente más de un millon copias en todos sus discos. El primer álbum de la cantante fue Anahí (1992), su siguiente disco se llamó ¿Hoy es mañana?. Además fue intérprete del tema Mensajero del señor, canción dedicada al Papa Juan Pablo II con motivo de su visita a México en 1993.
Tras trabajar en algunas telenovelas como Vivo por Elena, El diario de Daniela, Mujeres engañadas entre otras, en el 2000 se le dio la oportunidad de interpretar un protagónico en la telenovela "Primer amor" en la que interpretó a Jovana. En 2002 se integró al elenco de "Clase 406" como Jessica.
Anahí durante su carrera artística ha obtenido varios premios, entre ellos, el Ariel por su actuación en la película Había una vez una estrella en 1991 o el premio La Palma de Oro por su carrera como actriz infantil.
En 2004, el productor, Pedro Damián, la integró en el elenco de la telenovela Rebelde, donde interpretó a Mia Colucci. A la par de esta telenovela, se integró al grupo de pop, RBD.

[/size]Anahí Giovanna Puente Portillo was born on May 14, 1983 in Mexico City, Mexico to Enrique Puente and Marichelo Portillo. She has been characterized as an extremely versatile singer and actress. At the tender age of 2, she began her career on a Mexican television program called "Chiquilladas." She was also the face of a well-known soft drink brand. During her younger years, she recorded a song called "Te doy un besito" which was played at the end of a children's daily programming on Channel 5 in Mexico. Anahí has also starred in numerous films for the big screen such as: "Nacidos para Morir," and "Había una vez una Estrella." Some of the small-screen projects which she has starred in are: "Chiquilladas," "Mujer casos de la vida real," "Hora marcada," and "La Telaraña."
Though she has been an actress since she was young, her musical talents and her great looks should not be belittled. In 1996 she released her first album simply entitled Anahí. Her sophomore album is called ¿Hoy es mañana? and spawned various hits. She has also been voted as one of the hottest entertainers. Her most notable role was playing Mia Colucci in the Mexican soap opera Rebelde. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music, scrapbooking, and spending time with family. Among her favorite singers are Alejandro Sanz, Luis Miguel, Robbie Williams, Madonna... and lastly Camila. Her favorite shows are Sailor Moon and all cartoons but her favorite character is Peter Pan. Currently, she is a member of the Mexican pop group RBD which has been active since 2004.
